Staying Intentional: Goals for the New Year

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. It’s now 3:24 a.m., and I’ve been woken up randomly by my thoughts and decided to write some words down digitally. We are going into our third week of January, and it’s going fast. I’m excited about what will come this month and this year. I know many of us have made resolutions, but I’ve also noticed this trend of not making new goals for this new year but continuing with the goals from last year. I will say I’m leaning more toward finishing my goals from the prior year. Sometimes, I feel like making new goals each year when I didn’t finish last year’s goals can be overwhelming, at least for me. I’m all for chucking goals that didn’t work out and making new goals, but what about trying one more time? Anyway, that’s not what this post is about. Instead of creating new goals, I want to stay steadfast and intentional this year, and something that has come up for me is being quiet, purposeful, and faithful so that I can see it through to the end. One thing I want to see it through is my writing. So, I’m trying it again.
